A week with Casinacho Win: what stuck with me

I went into Casinacho Win expecting a throwaway tapper and came out mildly charmed. The first island is a tutorial in disguise — it hands you the crew, the gathering loop, and one small puzzle before it lets go of your hand.

The thing that kept me opening it was the pacing. Casinacho Win never dumps a wall of tasks on you. You clear a chapter, spend a couple of upgrade points, and the next island opens just as the last one was starting to feel routine.

Controls deserve a mention again. On a bus, one-handed, I could still play cleanly. Taps land where you aim and there's a satisfying little confirmation on every completed room.

If I have a gripe, it's that the mid-game islands recycle a couple of puzzle layouts. It's minor, and the art keeps things fresh enough that I didn't mind.

My advice for new players: don't rush your upgrades. Save points for the crew-speed boosts first, because they quietly smooth out everything that follows.
