About
Pixel Compass started as a group chat where four friends kept arguing about which mobile game deserved space on a cramped phone. At some point the arguments got long enough to turn into articles, and here we are.,We're independent. Nobody hands us a script, and we don't run press releases dressed up as reviews. When we like something we say so, and when a game wastes your battery we say that too.,Games get picked in a simple way: someone on the team plays a title for at least a few days, takes notes, and then we decide together whether it's interesting enough to cover. We favour RPGs and adventures because that's what we love, but we happily wander into strategy, racing and casual stuff.,There's no scoring machine behind the ratings. A number is just shorthand for a longer opinion you'll find in the text. Read the words, not the digits.
Lukas Brenner — Lukas has been chasing loot bars and skill trees on handheld screens since the days of feature phones. He edits most of what goes out and still loses arguments about turn order.
